ksss College prides of having best faculty in the region. ksss College has faculty approved by Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Faculty at ksss College is highly qualified and experienced. LIBRARY

To enhance knowledge and instill a thirst for learning in our students, which will enable them to develop an integrated personality and motivate them to make a valuable contribution to the society in future. To promote, support and sustain scientific and technological research and also disseminate information at a faster pace.

Library is one of the important activities as far as education is concerned and ksss values these sentiments.
As library is a part and parcel of every educational Institute, It has always been our endeavor to provide best library facilities for the students. The Library maintains an in-depth collection of around 8500 professional books, journals, integrated resource packages and microfiche. It also loans representative curriculum materials including children's literature and video recordings. Study tables, preview facilities and photocopiers are available. Brief reference help is offered at most times.

Tours and workshops concerning effective use of library resources related to relevant subjects. A valid ksss library card is required to borrow materials.

LANGUAGE EDUCATION RESEARCH CENTRE (LERC)

LERC contains materials related to all English/Hindi Language Arts curricula. The collection includes: teacher references, published Language Arts programs, practical materials, children and young adult literature, language and literacy journals, computerized language materials, theses and major papers, and course files. Professional assistance, wired and wireless Internet access, and ten PC and Mac stations, make LERC a valuable place to study and complete your language and literacy coursework.

COMPUTING & MEDIA SERVICES (CMS)

Computing & Media Services (CMS) is the audio-visual, computing and media support unit of the ksss College. It provides computing and media facilities, computing and audio-visual support as well as sales of media supplies to members of the Faculty.

COMPUTING

Computing computer lab is available for instructional use (and general use outside of classes). The Computer lab is equiped with latest technology and core 2 Duo processor enabled scanning/multimedia computers in the media area: Computer Lab available for consulting and technical support for microcomputer applications, Internet access, statistical analysis and general use of computers. Black and white and colour printing is available from Computer Lab.

A/V - Media

Welcome to Audio Visual Aid Room in ksss Campus. This is located in South Block on the first floor.
A media workroom is available for students to create their own audio visual aids, copy non-copyrighted audio and videotapes and preview media. laboratories is equipped with extensive audiovisual equipment to assist in the presentation through, LCD Projector, Slide Projector, Film Projector, video and 35mm slide images to television monitors placed around the laboratory. An over-head Projector & Epidiascope allows active demonstrations, text or diagrams to be displayed. This ensures that all seating positions in the laboratories are able to view any presentations.

Audio-visual equipment is available for loan for assignments and in-class presentations. Items include, computer data projector, TV/VCR's, digital video and still cameras, cassette recorders, CD players, LCD projector, film projector, slide projector, epidiascope etc.

MUSIC

Music is a big part of ksss College. The College's cultural committee (Formed by Students) coordinates musical events in College. Various musical equipments are available for practice; and a music practice room is available for students.

PSYCHO EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING CENTRE

While on practicum student teachers may wish to bring these services to the attention of college personnel and parents. The Psycho educational Research and Training Center (PRTC) is a multidisciplinary center for research and graduate training in the college. As a setting for the training of various specialists in education psychologists, counselors, learning assistance teachers, etc. the PRTC maintains an up-to-date Test Library which contains standardized tests, assessment instruments, reference materials and other resources which can be borrowed by qualified ksss faculty and students, and houses a suite of rooms for research and graduate student training in counseling, student psychology and related educational disciplines. In addition, the Center provides service and leadership in the field and in the community through the sponsorship of various workshops, institutes, self-study groups, and through the PRTC Hotline, an information service aimed at providing information to professionals on issues related to psycho educational assessment and research. The PRTC provides comprehensive psycho educational assessments for student at reasonable cost to the community as part of supervised practicum experiences for graduate student and maintains an ongoing research database on reading problems. Finally, as part of its mandate, the Center supports both applied and basic, externally funded and collaborative research in education and psychology. As a Center for research, training and service, the PRTC is designed to function within the scientist-practitioner model of clinical training in the behavioral and social sciences.

CLASS ROOM

The College has well ventilated classrooms each of 1100 Sq. Ft. and the capacity of each is 100 seats. All class room and conference hall are equipped with modern teaching aids and provided with comfort and conducive environment for learning.

SEMINAR HALL

ksss College maintains a well-equipped Seminar Hall, which can accommodate 300 persons. Complete with Video ram, Slide Projector, LCD & Overhead Projector, Sound System etc., it proves ideal for seminars, meetings, group use of audiovisual material, etc.

Training and Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell is a core area in a College which compliments the efforts of the members of faculty by organizing value-added programmes and providing placement opportunities to students.

The cell continuously coordinates with the various industries and organizations for placement of the students. It liaises with the Corporate sectors and helps in developing the industry-academic inter-relationship.

It obtains feed back from organizations on a regular basis and conveys it to the respective departments, which in turn, train students accordingly, thereby increasing their placement opportunities.

The Placement Officer is actively involved with various Corporate sectors to undergo a Memorandum of Understanding for the placement of students every year.

The Training and Placement Officer makes regular visits to various companies, on an all India basis, to project the capability of the students’ skills to fulfill the requirements of the Corporate world.

Personality Development Club

The aim of the personality development club is to develop all - round skills of every student that they can get into a hi-flying career. The club acts as a common roof for each individual to develop skills, inter - personal relationships and to gain adequate corporate exposure. Career Guidance, Mock Interviews and Paper Presentation Tips, Stress Management, Time management, Self - Evaluation and Development and Memory Management are some of the activities of the club

HOSTEL

Separate boarding and lodging facilities are available separately for outstation boys and girls. Seats are allotted on first-come first-served basis.

Common Rooms

The Institute has common rooms (seperately for boys and girls) equiped with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess.

Mess

College has its own spacious mess to provide nutritious and purely vegetarian food to the students. Preparation of non-vegitarian food is strictly prohibited in the mess. The management of the college directly controls the mess activities. Breakfast, lunch, evening tea and dinner are served at respective timings.

Cafeteria

The Institute has an excellent cafeteria with a seating capacity for more than 200 persons. It has a well-planned hygienic kitchen run by a reputed caterer at administered prices. Multi-cuisine lunch and snacks are being served in the cafeteria.

Students' Corner

Essential books, stationery etc., as well as reprographic facilities are available here. One PCO has also been installed for convenience of the students.

Transportation

Two way transportation is available from prominent locations at scheduled hours based on students' demand. Transport facilities for members of faculty, staff and also for visitors are available.

Electric Substation & Generator

The campus has its own electric substation and two gensets - 10 kVA and 25 kVA each for power back-up.These are maintained as per norms prescribed.

Health Care

A medical unit is available in the campus besides arrangements with hospitals located nereby.

SPORTS / GAMES

A common room, equipped with major indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess etc are available. The Institute also has outdoor playground facilities for Football, Cricket, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Hockey etc.

POSTAGE

All postal facilities are available at P.O., located nereby; besides, there is an extension counter of a reputed courier service inside the campus.

Laboratories

Laboratories play a very crucial role in science and technical education. ksss College prides itself on its high-tech laboratories which offer students ample opportunities to study different equipment, to understand the set up for experiments, to measure data, and to analyze results so as to match their practical observation with their theoretical knowledge. All laboratories are fully equipped to conduct experiments as per the Norms and syllabus of INC, NCTE, Department of Higher Education, and Jiwaji University & even beyond. Individual attention is paid to every student and all students are required to do independent experiments under the tutelage of experienced faculty.

We pay a lot of attention to our labs and acquire new and modern equipment on time to time. The Laboratories are equipped with many facilities and features to aid in providing the required services of the programs. ksss College has one of the best labs, as presented here, provides a variety of inputs or methods to assist your learning: dissection, vast variety of models and specimen, computer assisted instruction, movies, availability of laboratory instructors, and texts and atlases. Though each of these methods assists in its own specific fashion, the most important is the laboratory dissection. It deals with structure and no description or illustration can surpass individual observations of the three dimensional structure. The capacity to be observant is essential to clinical diagnosis, and studying is a good way to develop it.

Experiments are carried out in the lab at two different levels: Preliminary and Foundation. Part of the teaching has been to develop new resources for students covering lecture and tutorial material in the lab. The labs are fully equipped with modern and latest equipments, as we encourage students to engage in unaccompanied-lab exercises to enhance learning. We use demo videos, and live/preserved specimen to complement the learning process as well. Overall, the Labs at ksss College Campus provides our tutors, demonstrators, technicians and students with the tools of modern science - sophisticated, high-tech and the latest equipment in teaching and learning of various program offered. The Department focuses on the development of fundamental understanding, with the emphasis on new structural, synthetic and theoretical techniques applicable in both academic and industrial contexts.

Laboratory Rules

1. Students will be responsible for the proper handling of computers, apparatus lab equipments of any articles they are using in the labs.
2. The student shall compensate any damage or loss of any article.
3. If a group or batch of students does any damage or loss or breakage of any article, it shall be compensate by the whole batch or group.
4. No attempt must be made to repair or correct the apparatus/computer parts or any lab equipments.In that case student should immediately inform the concerned faculty.
5. No external CDs or floppies are allowed in the computer lab.
6. For small damages or loss, penalty will be deducted from the caution money.
